8th DAY of 2023 ASIAN YOUTH AND JUNIOR WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS AT GAUTAM BUDDHA UNIVERSITY, GREATER NOIDA

8th DAY 04th Aug 2023 (Friday)

The 8th day of 2023 Asian Youth (Boys & Girls) and Junior (Men & Women) Weightlifting Championships started with women’s +81 Kg, 87 Kg and +87 Kg weight Category in Youth & Junior Section.

Medals are being awarded for the first three winners in Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Total Weight Category.

Indian’s Martina Devi won Silver Medal +81 Kg Youth Catego

The closing ceremony of 2023 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships at Gautam Buddha University, is planned on 5th August 2023 after the completion of Men’s 109 Kg and +109 Kg Weight category. The Chief Guest for the closing ceremony is Smt. Sujata Chaturvedi, IAS, Secretary Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
